United We Ride, a program of The Federal Interagency Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM), purpose is to simplify access to transportation services and to enhance customer service through the development of a comprehensive and coordinated transportation system.

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) encompass a broad range of wireless and wire line communications-based information and electronics technologies.  When integrated into the transportation system's infrastructure, and in vehicles themselves, these technologies relieve congestion, improve safety and enhance American productivity.  

Mobility Services for All Americans (MSAA) builds on the USDOT’s United We Ride initiative. It also builds on other USDOT-led programs to increase mobility and accessibility for the transportation disadvantaged and the general public, and achieve more efficient use of federal transportation funding resources through technology integration and service coordination.

The Federal Transit Administration supports locally planned and operated public mass transit systems throughout the United States.
